*points at your icon* THAT. That is the thing that made me go guh gooey melty oh my god don't mind me in a puddle over here.

When I saw Vitas Mortis, John in his long PK coat made me think, "Hm, he's picking up fashion tips from Crais." Then he did the hand thing when he was sitting there listening to D'Argo and the Orican and my brain flashed on Crais snapping Teeg's neck at the end of That Old Black Magic, with the probable intermediate, if extremely compressed, thought that John wanted to snap Nilaam's neck out of jealousy because D'Argo was HIS, damn it.

And, er, I have a thing. For Crais, and John. And John, and D'Argo. And John being possessive and toppy with either of them. ("John? He's a big ole girlie bottom," one of my friends told me, incredulous. "For Aeryn," I answered. I think I just like overturning the obvious top/bottom dynamics in slash pairings. I'm off doing it with John and Scorpius, too.)

And it's all because of the damn fingers. Which you have. In your icon.

I know I'm speechless everytime I see that icon - or most of your for that matter, but the damned gloves keep distracting me as I try to write about them!

If you're talking about the gloves icon, it is amazingly sexy isn't it? Thank kernezelda. She is a genius. (It's 'cause the gloves are mine:) I see all of the wardrobe, but particularly the gloves as being directly tied to John becoming more and more like a Peacekeeper, covering his body, being a visual threat. Less human with everything he covers up.
