New SMRT-TV out today which includes some fabulous new columns, some David Attenborough love, and a column on Bones for those of you jonesing for some discussion:)

The Female-Buddy Ficathon plans are proceeding nicely, I think. leadensky is still doing the heavy lifting and refusing to claim responsibility so that's all good:) Further suggestions and avowals to participate and pimp are also welcome.

Watched West Wing last night and bawled like a baby. Because Santos won, and because Vinnick is a good man, and mostly because of Leo, and Josh standing there, looking at that picture, and saying, "Thanks, boss." Because it is Josh's story, because he has come full circle and he's there because of Leo. I'm pleased with how quiet everything was, how they acknowledged him in ways but never exploited him. And I have no doubt that I'm gonna be even more of a mess next week.

I think Santos deserved to win, and I liked that it was not an easy victory, that Vinnick is someone who recognizes his own flaws, who recognizes the idea of history moving forward independently of the players.

Oh, about the ficathon -- I loved the idea when you presented it, but really, June is not doable for me. & :-( Later, yes, but not just when I switch from judge to state attorney...
