Totally unrelated to the mini first - did anyone else notice that in the commercials for the SG1 Season 7 boxset, that some poor intern will clearly never work again? Hee - dude, it says "Woldwide" phenomenon. I know I shouldn't find that funny, but I so, so do!

ETA - I don't find it funny because it's Stargate, I find it funny because I edit for a living. And well, there's nothing worse than thinking you've nailed the edit, and having a huge population of people see differently.

First of all, dude, how perfect is this icon. Three out of four in the first five minutes:)

Second, who didn't about have a heart attack laughing at the first commercial break! Farscape, sponsored by KFC. M. said they should have used a tagline, "Lock up the women and hide the fried chicken, Farscape is back." I just, that made my night, made me laugh and squeal and just be so thrilled to be part of this fan base.

Was nervous and giddy all night, sew appliques onto costumes, got beer and M. ordered pizza and we watched the giant squid movie, and I put a tape in my VCR for Jack and Bobby, and put a tape in the real VCR, and then it was 9.

Made M. turn out all of the lights, he ran the sound through the speakers and I just couldn't contain myself, so incredibly excited.

And then, that opening shot, Aeryn's voiceover, and the pan out to the fleets in space and it took my breath away, looked so fucking good. M. wraps his arm around me, "Says, ah pumpkin, was it worth the wait?" And I chittered like a squirrel. Yes, oh yes. (These things - these are the reasons I love M. dearly, and haven't yet killed him. And because he ran the remote, making it commercial free and as soon as it was over, rewound the tape so I could watch it all over again.)

I - right now, I'm not even sure I can speculate. I'm just so pleased with it (and can hand wave far more than I was asked to last night).

Aeryn rocked, tough and smart, and confidant in her reasons for loving John. And the articulation of that, the doubts and the certainties were just so unbelievably well done.

Chiana and the Eidelons inner "eye". Dude, I love my show with it's 12 year old boy sense of humor:) "Does it get bigger?' "No, but it vibrates."

"You owe me." and "You are ruining my wedding." And manhandling Crichton into place.

Aeryn's arsenal:)

Harvey as Einstein and the Fuck Off.

The godawful moment when I remembered that Kemper was running the show. And that he was evil enough to kill of D'Argo and Chiana in the first half. I sat with my knees curled up, whimpering until I was sure they weren't dead.

Grayza's pregnancy, and her machinations, and how cool was it to use her pregnancy as another aspect of her sexuality? To dress it up and show it off. Love the tattoo/drawings on her and on Sikozu. Loved Sikozu's doubts, the way she's still trying to structure her levels of knowledge and ability into superior/inferior, and Aeryn being the one to say that maybe she needs to just accept things.

Peacekeepers being Peacekeepers, giving me the connection with humanity, and making me happy with it. Because of the layers, because of humanitiy's fall back into peace through superior fire power, and the way that has evolved.

The Eidolon's are really frelling creepy, and I'm not sure that manipulating people into peace is necessarily better, necessarily right. But I do find it interesting that they approach the process by finding out what exactly the warring parties want. What they really want. I loved that.

Loved the Bounty hunters, John using Scorpy as a shield. "You'd better have a hell of a plan B." "It's amazing what a man will do when he's in loooove."

It's just - exactly what I wanted. Guns and leather, sex and love, angst and explosions and huge moral dilemmas. Moments of absolute disaster, and then Aeryn making a joke, the look on John's face when she walked away, calling out to her that she'd better have his dinner ready, and the gun raised.

Okay, I'll just fill up this whole page with going over things so I'll just stop know, enjoying this huge ass grin on my face.

Ummm...YES--all of this, yes. The lush sensuality of Grayza, the ink on her belly like Crichton's ink on his skin--how is it that writing comments to you always makes me plug these connections in?!? Red herring or no, the idea of something coming to fruition, bubbling out and marking one's very skin--oof.

And yes! Even the KFC commercial made me squee!

I love that idea so much, the inked markings, that's a theme that could have some fabulous offshoots. (And I loved the drawings on Sikozu as well. Intentions literally writ large on the body. It's such a great theme!)

Hee - the KFC commercial almost made me fall out of my seat.

It was a wonderful two hours that I fear is leading up to an angsty two hours tonight. That first five minutes alone was enough to scare me and remember that David Kemper is a mean, mean showrunner!

Grayza was very smooth this miniseries, never let her emotions get out of control and that's when she's at her evilest (not a word, I know!). I'm very curious about the paternity of Baby!Grayza.

I really thought they'd killed Chiana and D'Argo. I mean, it's Farscape, and they kill their main characters all the time. It's like a hobby!

Man, oh man, tonight's going to be one helluva ride.

Exactly! There's no reason to believe that Kemper wouldn't have killed them. I really didn't breath until I had the visual proof.

As M. said, it's a good thing Part 2 is on tonight. I would never have made it another week:)

Thank dog, I was literally sobbing and going "please don't kill them, please don't kill them" through that scene, and then again when Chi passed out in space. I thought I was the only idiot dumb enough to fall for it, but hey - they'd just blown poor Jool away, I didn't know what to think!

hee, vomit! And it was John and Aeryn being upchucked! That was just so Farscape.
I was excited about the mini and have not been disappointed. Ben and Claudia were/are amazing and brilliant and it was just so wonderful
to be watching new Farscape... on a big screen TV. It looked amazing.

but, I'm really worried about tonight. DK is gonna kill us and I'm loving it.
