For those playing along at home, last night's boy just eliminated himself in a sad, if anticipated, round of over-enthusiasm. Bye-bye ear fetish boy. (It helps me get a clue when the over-enthusiasm makes me cringe instead of intriguing me or making me blush).

However, cute too far away boy has scheduled a second date.

The thing is, far-away boy is not technically too far away if you make him come UP for the various dates. But that of course presents a problem iffen you want to take him back to the house full of cats and Mike.

Hell, if you wanna use my apartment for hooking up, just holler and I will vacate the premises!

All of which is to say, there's no excuse for you to schlep down the coast for this guy unless he's pretty damned awesome.

Next week you'll come over and we'll watch our apocalypse show and debrief about this round of dates, yes? So it's vitally important that you meet all sorts of people, both hot and crazy, and report in great detail. &c.
