1. You have 50 dollars in your pocket. What do you do with it?
Buy books, or shoes. But probably books.

2. Your ultimate OTP? (fandom or real life)
Fannishly? John/Aeryn, still. In real life, the godchild's parents. Or possibly my dad and stepmother, because if she left him, I don't know what I'd do.

2. What is your most guilty pleasure?
Hmmm, well, I don't really feel guilty about much... Probably my addiction to crime shows/procedurals. And cigarettes. (Which, much as I love them are an oral fixation that is largely reduced when I'm having more sex. Sigh.)

4. Are you confused as to what lies ahead of you?
Not confused so much as... blurred. What I want seems so very different from what seems to be in front of me.

5. Where do you see yourself in five years?
Less stuck. I'd like to see myself with a partner and a career and a place to put my stuff and a dog and a level of challenge and satisfaction with my career and accomplishments. But I also kind of seem myself in a smallish town with a rickety house and high speed internet and the cats. It's easier to see myself alone then ensconced in a life populated by people who are mine, and sometimes I wonder if that isn't my ultimate problem.

6.Superman or Batman?
Batman. Jesus, if Batman played the drums he'd be the ultimate bad boyfriend. Superman would be attentive and sweet when he was around, full of endearments and compliments and picnics and i'd freak on him and break his heart and Batman and I would go have lots of rough sex and listen to music and yell at each other over bourbon.

7. If the person you like does not accept you, would you continue to wait for them to change their feelings?
Not forever. But... not forever.

8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
Nothing. Not at this stage in my life. Not, intentionally, at any stage. See above answer about Batman.

9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy recently?
My self-doubt. My being stuck. The end of my pseudo-relationship.

10.If you could have chosen at birth whether to be a boy or a girl, which would you be?
Girl. I am terribly, terribly happy I'm a girl.

11. Which of the 7 Deadly Sins do you think you relate to the most & why?
Sloth. Covetousness. I covet, and I don't like that. My sloth, on the other hand, doesn't bother me.

12. What's one of the best memories of your life?
Rome, 1995. That month felt like such an adventure, such a break from the norm. I met my best friend, I fell in (unrequited) love with a boy, and requited love with a city. I had my first hangover, my first heartbreak, my first moment of true... awe.

13. Who is currently the most important person to you?
My mother. My best friend. My godchild.

14. What kind of person do you think you are?
Kind. Scared. Judgmental. Opinionated. Cold. Ridiculous. Joyful. Sad. I think I'm someone who wants to be more generous and sensitive to others than I am, and it gets trapped inside, turns into selfishness and need. Focused.

15. Do you believe in some form of life after death?
I believe that anything is possible.

16. Which fictional character could you most see yourself marrying? And which one would you simply have a torrid affair with.
Seely Booth. Big, not as dumb as he looks, competent and sweetly dorky, likes smart women with social hangups:) Or Cameron Mitchell, for the same reasons. Torrid affair? Maybe Vala:) Or Teal'c. I'd like to have a torrid affair with Teal'c. Or maybe Ronon. Or both!!!

17. Would you give your all in a relationship?
I'd want to. I haven't always. But I'm getting better.

18. Do you have a motto? If yes which one?
Do no harm.

19. What type of friends do you have?
Amazing, smart, quirky, loving, generous, ridiculous, supportive friends.

20. Do you have an all time favorite song?
Visions of Johanna or Don't Think Twice, It's Alright.

I miss the "My character" memes!! It's like the "5 Things" meme, it never gets old.

I'd love to see some of these questions answered from a character perspective.

But I'd love even more some random five questions answered, like: 5 Things that X always takes on a Trip, or 5 Place Character Y Wishes She'd Had Sex or 5 Decision Z Made That seemed like a good idea at the time or 5 Books That A Read that Changed Her Life or Five Moments When B Wished He Could Have Introduced C to His Parents or Alternately, was glad they'd never met C or Five People B Wished he could have introduced to his folks
