Today's Realizations
Jul. 3rd, 2007 12:16 pm-There is something deeply and hilariously perverse about the fact that M. is trying to manipulate me into staying up and entertaining him by promising me time with the iPhone. Like it's a vibrator, or a really pretty boy. (Although, dude, we have discussed that if one got it a waterproof case and a vibrating component, most of us would never leave the house. Ever.)
- I have never wanted to write a screenplay, not really. Nor a spec script. But I swear by all that is holy that if I could find a frame for it, I'd write an Ari-centric Entourage script so fast it'd make my own head spin. "Someone let your oompa loompa out of his cage." Oh Ari, I love you. Despite the fact that the subplot of this week's ep was deeply stupid, Ari and Lloyd always make me happy. Don't change boys.
- Karma? Laughing at me today. No really. Karma took a look at my actions on Saturday and said, you're cute, but you're fucked. In a not so bad but still totally what you deserve kind of way. (I have a feeling that if were Catholic, I would be spending a lot of time in confession. Not that I do much that needs confessing, unless saying Fuck a lot is a sin. Okay, it might be, but I think I'd dig the retribution and restitution aspect. Also, the guilt factor.)
- I finally, FINALLY, get to start doing the new job when the 4th is over. Oh new job, I'm so ready for you, and so done with the old job which has ended this issue with a series of fuck-ups and disasters and pain-in-the-ass things that categorize what I most dislike about it, while also making me laugh like a lunatic.
HAPPY 4TH EVERYONE.
- Promises for the time after the whole Birth of our Nation holiday: A return to fannish pursuits, more of the NIP (for me, not y'all who don't care), and the finishing of two way overdue stories.
