My flurry of organization ended abruptly tonight when I crashed on the couch then ordered Bossa Nova (OMG Bossa salad and shrimp croquette so worth me being more broke). I did however finish my presentation for my client, creating a color theme as well as making concentric circles around Iran in Photoshop. Then I watched Grey's Anatomy.

I am a sucker. Doc dying made me cry. Burke and Cristina made me cry. My love for Bailey continues thoroughly unabated. My deepest sympathy went out to the Chief for having to sit through the personal lives of all of Bailey's interns. I'm still too angry at Izzie to care that she quit or that Denny died. Yes, I liked the circling the wagons because I like that kind of display of loyalty, but I still hated this story line. It pissed me off, and was not to be outdone by the prom, which is the kind of happy cheesiness that I turn into GA for, particular Bailey choosing the color scheme.

I do not care about Meredith and Derek, and I was starting to really like Meredith. Despite his hotness, I still don't like Derek, except I like his relationship with Burke, but then, I really, really like Burke and I really loved Cristina's conflict because that wasn't soap opera conflict, that was legitimate bright, ambitious, driven woman figuring out who and what she is conflict and it was very well done and I think that finding her inner humanity is not a bad thing for Cristina. Yes, I liked the parallel of Burke potentially losing his abilities in the same way his idol did, but dude, they telegraphed it all to hell, and while I really enjoy this show, it is not a show full of delicate subtleties.

In conclusion, yes, I'll be back next season. But too much Derek/Meredith will put me off, and I've lost my investment in Izzy's journey (despite liking her for quite some time) but Alex has redeemed himself and that makes me happy.
