Rec-Go-Round: Rec me one story you've written that you're proud of, any genre, here on my LJ.

Then go forth and ask the same in yours.

Adding that you should also post which story of yours you're reccing in the original post because I'm curious as to what people choose to recc for different people.

I recced Checkmate which was a S2 post TWWW NC-17 piece that was a sequel to the laundry porn, but which (in my mind) is a much better story.

Betrayal of Justice of the Lois and Clark fandom, though really only because it created Controversy over the lack of a 'deathfic' warning. Muahaha.

And hellooo! :)

I rec Atavistic Pie, which is possibly the weirdest and ickiest story I've ever written. And, unsurprisingly, the least-loved. It's SGA, set before the season 2 premiere and immediately jossed by it, as well.

It would probably not make any sense to you. But I'm rather fond of it nonetheless.

It is, however, short. And on my Stargate Stories page, down the bottom.

Hee - yeah!! I'll go read it! And you can have a bonus rec of something in a fandom I might know:)

Cool meme.

um, Linear Progression. Proud because even people who don't particularly like the pairing, like the fic, and that's a nice compliment.

I've written so few fics, having spent the last three years completely subsumed in a single story. Everything I'm proud of is either far back in the Dark Ages or is both unfinished and extremely long. And you may very well have read them already anyway (I can't keep track of all the people who've given feedback, so if you have and I've forgotten, my apologies.)

So, assuming I'm wrong and you haven't read my stuff, do you prefer old and complete or new and unfinished?

Recc whatever you'd like. This is a chance, more than anything, to say, "Here's something I've written that I like, that I'm proud of." Doesn't matter if I've read it or not (odds are, if it's FS, I have). I'm more interested in what people choose from their own work!! You can choose a section of Unrealized Peackeeper if you want, or the whole thing to date, or something in an entirely different fandom.
