Ok, this is quick - and a chance to show off my new icons. I only wish I could show more than one at a time. Thanks so much to kernezelda (who provided this particular icon) and to whitelight1 for the others.

Since Relativity just aired, I wanted to point out to anyone who hasn't read it,Rain by Fialka. I can't imagine that there can be all that many people who haven't read this, but still, since I was awful and never sent the author any feedback, here's a tiny bit of payback.

I love this story. It's beautiful, heartbreaking, tender and so well written that I want to gnash my teeth in jealousy. There are surprisingly few Talyn arc fics and this once just captures everything perfectly.

Oh, Rain is a great fic. Great erotica with just that touch of romance thrown in. I still re read it.

Ah, J/A...when there love was just evolving. Who knew such pain would lay in the future for those two star crossed lover? :D

It's too bad that there's not more Talyn arc fic. There's a lot of really fertile ground there to write about.

Rain is a lovely fic. Lyrical and intense and poignant, J&A beautifully balanced and complementing each other perfectly. It has some of my favorite fic lines of all time in it.

I ought to go email fialka and tell *her* that, huh?

All right. You're absolutely right. Guilt, shame and doing the right thing and six months too late, but it still counts, I think.

I think after she posted it I did email her with some insiped words of incoherency about how awesome it was. I told her I would send her a more coherent email later. I still can't get past "Gah! That was awesome!" *g*
