Sunday Night's All Right
Jul. 10th, 2005 08:30 pmSince I got 75% of my work done, when I came home tonight I flopped on the couch and watched bad TV. Okay, mostly I watched Sybil on Oxygen because it was on and well, I was sorting of watching the Amber Frey movie on Lifetime and feeling kind of guilty and kind of sick and kind of wondering how I was going to be able to forgive Janel Maloney for being in that movie and watch West Wing in the Fall, so watching Sybil seemed like not such a bad thing. It's a surprisingly sad and effective movie for all the bad '70's fashion and imagery. All of that abuse, the splitting of that little girl's mind. It sort of made me hold my breath and hold my stomach, wanting to hide from all of that.
Wow, it sounds like all I do is watch TV on the weekends. Not true!! This is an anomaly, but I've sort of been enjoying it.
I also watched Dalek last night. And man, oh man, my love for the Doctor is complete. ( Slight Spoilers for Dalek )
( What puts this into the My Show category. And why, sadly, BSG doesn't quite qualify. )
ETA: Forgot to mention the most important thing I did today which was to die my hair a black cherry color. I shall miss the crayola red, but now at least neither my roots nor my grey hair can shine through:)
