Quick drive by post while panting. Just wrote three articles. Brain is leaking out my ears.

Sent M. to the store last night when I got home at 10:30 p.m. from teaching and then a detour to the gym and then Rite Aid for cat litter. Had to get some of the exhaustion out, my body aching like somehting worn and used. Flopped onto the couch, flipping through the channels, and realized with glee that the Mini was on.

M. comes home, and looking at the screen, says, "You need one of those people you know who makes you things to make a little video of different images of his ass."

I started laughing so hard I fell off the couch. The beautiful thing is, he has no concept of fandom, all of this is coming out of his head:) He cracked up when I said that such a thing did indeed exist:)

Of course, this is also the boy who thinks that the wormhole should be a theme park ride, with every car having it's own little Harvey guide.

He may look like a normal waiter/actor, but he's just as big a geek as I am. And I've promised that should he ever get Eliza Dushku to marry him, that I will never tell her that he has had a huge crush on her for years:)

(Granted, he said all this after showing me some silly movie with Eliza Dushku that had her in a variety of bikinis. I asked if that's what he'd done all day, and he said no, he was pacing himself. His quote, "See, you have to go through three hours for your fix, I've whittled mine down to a commercial break." My response, "Don't be too sure there aren't two minute segments in my world either).

Can't write the novel when the Ghost Story won't leave me alone. So I'm giving in.

The new Sounds Eclectic CD has an acoustic version of Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots that's dreamy, and sad and sure and makes me love the Flaming Lips even more.

Shall I post the song list? The order may change, but it will be a taste of what I'm mailing you (on Monday! *crosses fingers*)

Hee:) It's a great CD, although with less variety in style than last year, but that may just seem like the case because I have most of the CD's by the artists represented:) (Also got the Diana Krall, Yo Yo Ma's Vivaldi, Sonic Youth and The Finn Brothers when I renewed:) It's far too easy to justify my obsessions:)
