Allright, this is just a thought, a random unformed thought, but if I were to say, manage a plane ticket to Boston at the end of June, would there, perhaps be a hotel room that I could share with anyone? You know, for that little gathering?

There are a few deals that make this a very, very tempting proposition, although I'm not quite certain of what I'd say to people when they asked why I was flying cross country for the weekend:)

And again, just a thought, but a tempting one.

Um yeah! don't be stupid. You can crash with us if need be. And don't worry Feldman won't mind. *bg*

*bounces with joy at the unformed idea*

hell, at this rate, I'm gonna have extra rooms anyway (so I don't get sacked for a buttload of money to cover the rooms NOT reserved) so, yes, there will be places to stay, don't worry about it...

hee!

Eeeee!!! Oh please, oh please, oh please! That would be so great!

I'm rooming with Whitelight, if she decides to come, but I really doubt she'd mind you rooming with us, too. :D

Besides (*points at cretkid's comment above*) some of us are probably going to end up having to reserve extra rooms anyway, so I seriously doubt there would be any shortage of rooms for you to stay.

(Think of the public service you'd be performing! You wouldn't want all those rooms to go to waste, would you? ;) )

Hee, I so would not want those rooms to go to waste. And this seems like a good time to get tickets, even if I have to take a red eye on Thursday night, which is so not the end of the world:) It would just make me very, very happy to go on a spontaneous trip, and meet all of you:)

We so crazy, right?

Yup!! I just got the Friday off and am going to go buy the plane ticket. Gulp. Do I have to actually register?

Now we need to think of a good cover story for me:)

I've found a reasonable plane ticket - and Kath has been infinitely persuasive, and as long as there are people I can stay with, and share part of the room cost with, I should be okay:)

Because I don't need to eat in July, right:)

*hugs Thea* It would totally make my year if you could make it. :)

And also, because I suck, I just realized that I haven't wished you a happy birthday yet. I'm so sorry!

(Although in my defense, the reason I missed your birthday was because I kept hoping to write you an Aeryn fic in time for your birthday. Unfortunately, it mutated into a part of a slightly longer story where Aeryn was no longer the focus, so it didn't fit your criteria anymore... *sigh* Aeryn and I just don't along, do we. ;) I'll write something for you eventually, though, really I will! *feels determined*)

So happy really belated birthday, Thea! And congratulations on getting an ipod. As a fellow ipod user, I can tell you that you're in for a treat. :D

Hee, I've already figured out that the iPod is about a hundred times smarter than I am:) I'm waiting for it to start doing cartwheels:)

And honey, I'd be thrilled with anything you wanted to write for me:) Honestly, and thanks for the B-Day wishes:)

I found a plane ticket that gets me into Boston at an obscene hour in the morning, which should be okay:) I need to figure out if I can just go on to the hotel or what, but otherwise, I think I'm ready to book the ticket:)

EEEEEE!!! Awesome. Awesome, awesome, awesome. And frelling awesome.

If the shuttle isn't running, call one of the natives. ;) We'll get you to the hotel! And like Katya and CK already said - don't worry about a hotel room.

Hee. Right now, the flight I'm looking at gets in at 5:40 a.m.:)

That's so not morning:) That's the dead of night:) hee. But I love Boston and I haven't been in years. As long as I can figure out what to do with my suitcase, i can easily occupy myself for hours on end.

On my summer schedule, that's morning. *shudder*

Boston really is a wonderful city, and I don't just say that because it's home.

But yeah, definitely, the T will be running or if you need a ride just call. We'll have to set up a cell phone list before the con.

Sweetie, you tell them you're "visiting friends." And if they ask how you know them, tell them "I know them from college," no matter how far away from actually being in college you are. Because no one ever questions that, if you keep tight-lipped about it. And no one will think you're crazy!

Hee:) Snort. Yeah. And it's legitimate. I do have friends who live roughly in that area, and regardless, I very much need a break that doesn't involve anyone I'm related to or have lived with:)
