rubberneck, the CD's arrived and they absolutely rock!! Thank you, thank you!! I did a little dance around the house, scared the cats, took a bath and listened to the Moyafic discs!! It was a night well spent, especially after dealing with a slew of students. I'm listening to the Johnny mix right now!!

And seriously belated thanks to boofadil for the holiday wishes!! Thank you so much dear. It made my day to get off the plane and open my mailbox.

And for both these lovely ladies, if you'd like to make a fic request, I'm happy to accomodate!

I'm doing the reccs for crack_van this month, but the memories link isn't displaying the categories. Anyone know if makkiko's This Device is Being Tested was recced already? I've got a list of reccs that I'm certain of, but wasn't sure about this one. I do realize I could go through all of the past entries, but I really do occasionally work at work!

I also wanted to say thank you to the people who nominated my stuff for The Sparky's. Getting the notifications just brightened my day. My investment in the outcome pretty much ends here, but I highly enjoyed the nomination process. I'm not too much on competition, so I'm not gonna pay real close attention to the results. However, Congratulations to everyone who's fic was nominated. And huge thanks to all of the people working behind the scenes to facilitate this recognition.

It doesn't look like any of the memories are there...the CSI ones aren't. That's...not cool. I would hate to be the mods if they'd disappeared.

I don't remember it being recc'd, if that helps any.

On an aside, I tend to work myself halfway to an ulcer every time I post there. Something about all those eyes rolling every time I post and stumble through an explanation of why I think a certain fic is good when I know perfectly well that I'm not the world's most selective reader.

Nah, I know the feeling. I want to be selective about my reccs, but at the same time, I still want to recc what I like!! Yeah, I think there are problems with LJ because they were there before and there are lists of titleless numbers.

I want to say that "A New Device" has been recced already, but I might be thinking of uncharted_tales and not crack_van. I didn't board the van until about a month ago, so *shrugs shoulders*

Oh goodness! *has a giddy spell* How about (exhibits great self control by not simply screaming SMUT!) something smutty (but wait! there's more!) but also fun. Playful. Perhaps even giggly. Chasing and screaming and laughing, or spunk landing in hilarious places, or naughty in-jokes that make the eyes glisten as you try not to laugh later on in mixed company. A romp. That's what I'd like, a playful monkeysex romp.

I don't get anything when I go to the link (or I don't get a list!! Which is unbelievably frustrating, but I'm gonna recc it and hope it's not a repeat - since there was only one other person between you and Cofax, I think I'm pretty safe:)
