I do like all the shiftiness and complexity of the characters, even if sometimes I try to add up all the double crossing and come up short. However, considering I continued to watch Angel all last season when they had the sun go down on L.A., but apparently nowhere else, I can take a little uncertainty about the spooky stuff (I do think they do a good job with all the threads, but sometimes the tie ups are a little abrupt).
And I don't know if John Quixote is necessarily a pick me up, more a damn I love this frelling show kind of thing. Makes my brain work every single time I watch it:)
