Damn those teeth

My teeth hurt. My lower wisdom teeth are coming in and it hurts. I want to crawl under the desk and hold my jaw. Whimper.

I went to Krav Maga last night. Got my ass kicked. Yeah me for going, though. We did elbows in Level 1 and my head is still ringing.

Posted Mare Tranquilis to Kansas, and am off to post it to Leviathan. crankygrrl was merciless, but it's cleaner and better. Blows her kisses and hopes her day improves. It's funny, this piece was triggered by a what if John apologized to the flight director random thought, and has ended up being one of my favorite things. Huh.

And in that spirit, still influenced by her crankiness, a line to build a fic around.

"Well, we're not dead and the universe didn't implode, but we still have one more problem."

"And that would be?"

"D'Argo's gonna want to dance at our wedding."

I used the one in the e-mail, although I was mightily impressed by your technical prowess (hey baby, you wanna see what I can do with a word processor). I don't think you were merciless. I've had the same reaction when I've had searose beta. The huh, those changes make sense and reign in my overly enthusiastic prose, reaction.

Professionally, I have to take edits from people who can't find their ass with both hands, let alone distinguish a comma from a semi-colon (not my editor who is wonderful, but my sources who get a chance to review my material before it's printed), so having competent, talented writers hack and whack at my stuff is more pleasure than pain, even when I don't wanna say goodbye to the babies.

Yeah, but... but... D'Argo's so cute when he dances! I love D-dancing. Anth gave us a demonstration of all of D's different dancing styles at SydCon. It was adorable.

D'Argo can dance with me, anytime! He has no self-consciousness. I like that.
