And we have a winner. $10 fee for the parking ticket, and I am officially done with that citation. (FTA was dropped. All other fees and penalties were dropped. I paid $15 to the sherriff's dept, countless dollars to the parking lot people, and zillions of hours of my time, but I did NOT have to pay the exorbitant FTA fee. (

wearemany, if you haven't yet had your acquital, the day court judge was WAY more lenient than the night court judge due to the 80 bazillion cases he was processing. It did, however, take twice as long).

And word to the wise, do not be littering in LA. You get a fine, plus 8 mandatory hours of community service!!

Relief does not even begin to express my feelings right now (and I'm living in blissful denial of the fact that our gas is out. Again.)
