First, I find this meme very funny in theory even though I haven't read anyone's answers. But if anyone cares to play:

If My LJ Were it's Own Fandom...

a. Who would people ship me with?

b. Who would be my arch-nemesis?

c. What would a Mary Sue in my fandom be like?

d. When or how did I/will I jump the shark?

e. Write a one sentence summary of the story that would win the Best Fanfic Award in my fandom.

f. What would a typical badfic involve?

g. Who would be the BNFs in my fandom?

h. Why would my fandom end up on fandom_wank?

My personal feeling is if this journal were it's own fandom, it would resemble one of those post-teen years dramas featuring young professionals in impossible jobs who couldn't possibly have that much sex and still go to work but have time to rant about justice and their hair care products. The pairings would be contrary and cranky and het the slashers would despair and move on and there'd be a very fine line between the badfic and the decent and at the end there'd be some sort of fucked up time travel paradox via Felicity. And people would totally complain about how much the lead character cries and that she'd be much cooler if she were a little more stoic.

I started to write a drabble for [livejournal.com profile] cofax7 and it's turning into a story (shakes fist at C.), except it really shouldn't be a story as there's no plot in my head for it. Sigh.

ETA: I'm very tempted to put up a list of the things that have fallen off/fallen apart on the Plastighettocar, largely for my amusement.

This last weeks count runs something like this:
-Random panel on the console
-Rear right tire
-Screw that was keeping the front bumper more attached than less.

A small revision to your version

And people would totally understand how much shit the lead character has had to put up with, and they would think that it is cool that she wears her heart on her sleeve and always pulls up her hotpink psychidelic rain boots and manages to deal!

And people would also talk about how awesome the soundtrack is, too, and would totally share all the songs through illicit channels ;).

I keep hoping that if enough people on my flist do this meme and enough people respond to it, then maybe I will understand this meme. Because I keep trying to wrap my brain around it and have not been altogether successful.

I'm going to pretend it's because my brain is a little fried at the moment and not because I lack some essential meme-interpreting abilities. :)

Apparently the healthy Leper is contagious because now our "new" car (i.e., the one with only a decade and 96,000 miles on it) is losing pieces. That person you saw by the side of the road tying some mysterious plastic piece underneath the car to the bumper with twine? Yeah, that was me.
