M. has learned the next four measures of Freebird. Deities of all sorts be praised. Because it's my guitar and I really wasn't looking forward to seeing how far down his throat it'd go.

So very tired - like a narcoleptic cat (although if that isn't redundancy in action, I don't know what is). Last week's flu/plague/cold/whatever just ate my reserves and I'm utterly exhuasted at being awake and functioning for an entire workday. Of course, I'm doing several people's jobs right now, so that doesn't help.

And in the week and a half of fannish input and druglike hallucinations, I lost the ability to get started. I have several writing projects impatiently waiting for me, but I don't know how to go back to them, so please, please, give me a challenge: a line, a sentence, a set of requests( I saw this on [livejournal.com profile] sdraeven's LJ I think), something to jump start my brain into output mode. I can't promise I'll answer 'em all, but I promise to choose at least one or two!

And, also, for those playing along at home who are good at keeping track of such things, does anyone have a link to where [livejournal.com profile] rubberneck posted her commentaries on parts of Little Acorns?

well, I think your post title actually makes a pretty funky output jumpstart....

ah, glad the guitar and m are safe for the moment. ;)

hope you're feeling better soon, and your image of a narcoleptic cat is giggle-worthy.

hmmm....a request. how about some more sg1 farscape crossover? although no worries if that not what's coming to mind. *hugs*

Hee - Mesa, I'm sensing a theme.

prompts!

cofax7: climbing on an abbey wall (Chris in the Morning -- Snacky)
From: [personal profile] cofax7
1. A poster from World War I: two children clinging to each other in the rubble. Avez vous place dans votre coeur pour nous?

2. A 2 foot by 4 foot handmade rug from Kazakhstan, handed down by a grandmother one never really liked.

3. A four-month-old dried lei hanging on a doorknob.

(I need a prompt in return, actually, for that HNC thing. Any ideas?)

1. A long drive across the triple threat of Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.

2. Origami randomly littered all over a living room.

3. A quarter acre of squash growing in the middle of a desert.

Something cheerful. Or silly. Or designed to neutralize panicky hormonal attacks. Or, a red poinsettia.

lyric prompt (it's Tori Amos 'Butterfly Dreams, I think): "I think I could be good to come home to." Fandom and pairing your call.

or

SG-1 in which Mitchell gets furious about something. Daniel plays good cop, but they don't really know what the other is going to do. Points for including a pomegranite reference.
