It looks like I'm going to miss out on my one final fannish contribution this year as I failed to make the Yuletide deadline and keep missing the pinch hits I could write.
So, if anyone's still following me and would like an obscure fandom story, I'll write three short pieces as gifts. Fandom was very, very good to me and I still feel grateful for the kindness, warmth, silliness, intellectual stimulation and loveliness I found in this community.
I'm open to most types of media, and will pick sources I'm familiar with to write about. Just think you could request one as a gift for someone else!
In other news, M. hasn't had a full time job since April, so we're broke and struggling, I lost my sweet Georgie cat in August, our other cat Logan has renal failure, and my purse got stolen out of my house the night before Halloween. It has been a year of small cuts and slights and I'm struggling to recognize that big things are okay: my loved ones are healthy or healthy-ish. My dad has had some major battles this year, but appears to be finishing the year on an upswing.
I would love to write something that makes people happy to finish off the year since I'm so braindead, I can't jump start my own projects.
Also, if any of you have had big or little news, drop by and let me know!
