Desperate Query

In other news, I'm going to go home for a week to regroup and spend some quality time with my folks. I need to form a plan of attack, and maybe this will give me the luxury of writing for a few days. I've finally reached the point of needing to be serious about my writing, which means that I'm willing to do what I need to do to pay the bills - temping, retail, whatever, if it allows me to write, to focus on my portfolio, on the novel, on freelance articles, on things that have greater meaning to me. I feel surprisingly optimistic, largely because known of the bills have surfaced yet.
