ARRRRGH!

I have a very expensive education, which did not prepare me for navigating the internet. Yet again, my technological inadaquecies strike. I tried to post to Leviathan using the lovely posting interface. It reallly is lovely, and not overly complicated and it just defeated me. I converted to a text file. Wouldn't take it, so I converted it to html, then added some html tags. Well, it took that, and didn't convert them, and now there are little tags at the beginning of the story that don't do anything. Smacking forehead repeatedly.

I would like to talk about the ridiculousness of the President's proposed tax cuts. I'd like to talk about the looting in Iraq, which seems to be generating more horror than the bombs dropped, or any of the world's events. Yesterday on Fresh Air, Jonathan Schell was talking about why non-violent solutions are a more practical approach to conflict in this day and age. It's very interesting, and based in really well-researched history. He talks about the League of Nations, the UN and the failures of both. But I'm sleepy. It's sunny outside, and I'm wearing sexy shoes that I keep getting distracted by. So I'll leave the world alone for today.
