itsallovernow1. Sent in my Remix fic. Still think I missed the point, but I like the story, so there we have it!

3. Um, yeah, there's a three. Oh, May 1st is the deadline for submissions atthe_sporkys, but if you're working on something and it's gonna be a little late, let me know. I have an in with the moderator:) Like I said on the site, you can also pretty much read May 1st as May 2nd because I almost never have time to get online on Saturdays.
4. Bought A.S. Byatt's Little Black Book of Stories, and Pratchett's The Fifth Elephant. This, along with the Rosemary Kierstein should keep me very, very busy this weekend.
5. There's new Magnetic Fields, but I don't know if it's out, or just getting airplay. Surely I'd know if it was out, right? I haven't been that absent from pop culture.
6. Jeff made lovely banners for the Sparky's winners. So thank you Jeff!! If only I had somewhere to put them, or knew how to put them somewhere in the first place:) Regardless, they were clearly a labor of love, and I'm sure labor intensive and it was a lovely gesture!
7. There is a horde of people going to Coachella this weekend and they can all bite me. I'm not jealous. Really. Hah. Yes that's a lie. The Pixies man, The Pixies, who broke up before I ever had a chance in hell of seeing them when I lived on the East Coast, and dude, they're not playing anywhere else. Also, Radiohead, The Shins, the Flaming Lips, Belle and Sebastian. Sigh. My only saving grace is that it's gonna be hotter than a teenage girl in pigtails and a plaid mini skirt (shut up, I'm workin' on my metaphors so I can enterain my dad:) and I don't need heatstroke or a vicious sunburn.
8, 8, I forgot what eight was for (and I think I'll quit while I'm ahead. I'm already wearing my goth girl t-shirt today, I don't think channeling my adolescent music habits would benefit anyone, although somewhere in my pile o' junk I still have that CD. Ahh, to be sixteen, wearing grown up clothes on Saturdays, hanging out in high school cafetrias during Forensics meets with all the other geeks, listening to the Violent Femmes:) I don't miss it a whit;) Oh, maybe a little:)
