Smut Fix

rubberneck and robynbender have made me a very, very happy girl today:)

And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Smart smut, funny, poignant, hot, sexy, edgy, dirty and lovely, and both of these incredibly talented ladies have such a way with words in their own very distinct ways!!

I'd like to hug them both, especially because my day started at 7:30 (shut up, I know I get up later than the rest of the world. I also go to bed later:), when the geniuses who are redoing the apartment upstairs started launching things out the window. I heard a crash, glass shattering, sprang up in bed, partly because the cat had just removed a foot of skin from my leg as he fled the noise.

My apartment is directly underneath the apartment upstairs. Directly, as in my bedroom window is underneath the window of launching and they were throwing mirrors, windows, furniture, shoes, everything left in the apartment when the poor old man who lived there died. The poor old man who my asshole of a landlord was exploiting, forcing him to pay double the rent because he couldn't move, had no where to go and had been living in that apartment for 30 years.

And now they're throwing his stuff out the window, into the courtyard in front of my window. It scared the crap out of me, and the cats are traumatized forever. They think the sky is falling, and the black one is tucked into the space between the speakers and the giant TV which is just catsized with this terrified, yet murderous look on his face. Georgie's tough. He's scared now, but I'm betting if let loose on the morons upstairs, he'd do some damage. It doesn't pay to mess with a Siamese.

The full Siamese, the neurotic, psychotic toast point, is pretty relaxed. He thinks the aliens are coming for him. And he's been waiting a long time. We hope he lets us go with him:) Seriously, he's a cream colored cat, with blue crossed eyes. He looks like a ton-ton, and he'll stare up at the sky for hours when the windows open, waiting and waiting for something. He sees spooks left and right:)

So, the morning started off with a bang, and I went upstairs to scream at the workers, and did, and just got smiles and nods because none of them speak English, and they don't know any of the other languages I can scream in.

Then I put on my polka dot skirt, which I bought in the winter, and yet it's far too miserably hot to wear tights of any sort. Got to work, and realized the damn thing is practically see through. You can see my light blue lace panties and my ass cheeks. Which means I can 't go out for lunch, or you know, anywhere. I'm pretty brazen. I believe life is better without a bra, and I've been known to not wear panties, but you know, deliberate choices and all that, not dumbass luck and being distracted by the idiots upstairs.

And you know what, in all seriousness I can't say how glad I am, how fortunate I feel that today, these are the worst of my problems!!

And that there were rewards waiting for me when I got to work that were fun and smut filled, and fandom's so making me happy - books and music and challenges and TV commentary, and movies, and people who read and write and think and amaze me with their humor and kindness and genorosity, and I can ignore the kerfuffles because I'm good at that:)

Yeah, please, please share!! Because really, being this old and not knowin' I'm showin' my panties to the world sounds like I'm a moron, or a flake at the very least:)

But feel free to laugh. Everytime I go into the bathroom and so my pasty white behind and blue panties I both giggle and groan:)

Ooh, ouchies, and eep! And thank you for mentioning smart smut because it sent me scurrying all hopeful-like to find the fics!!

Also in an attempt to bring some John based cheer online, AND because in one lj entry did say you wanted to give this meme as homework (ie not spamming you with this at all, honest, guv), I have done the My John meme!!

Hee! yeah for the my character memes. I did one for Aeryn as well:) She was much harder to verbalize because I'm far too fond of her:)

Well, she officially posted "Whetting the Appetite" to the Sporky's site, which means it's done:)

If you haven't read it, I highly reccomend it:) I'd also reccomend reading it in a room by yourself so you can blush and giggle and sweat and guffaw all by your lonesome:)

And she's working on something that may be done for the Sporky's deadline, so it might be an extra treat:)
