Weekend was a blur

Marathon training (official kick off) on Saturday - not too much training, lots of workshops and I won a free hat for kicking ass on the fundraising. Now, I just need to continue that trend!

Lots of students, lots of work, very little writing, and a HUGE show that went pretty well but wasn't terribly well attended. Plus, as it fell basically in the middle of the day, I had to wear my wig and my turquoise glittery eyeliner all day as I saw clients and then eventually attended a series of one acts (one of which was written by the super-fabulous lizlet). Most of the day I felt like a cross between a crazy 70's swinger housewife and a transvestite.

Went shopping with iamsab to seek a dress for this wedding, and found this: Blue Bird Dress. It fit, mostly, but mostly isn't enough when the mostly was not being able to quite zip it due to my boobs. Stupid boobs getting in the way of outrageously expensive and hip designer dress worn by people I really wouldn't even want my boobs associated with! Sigh. I really do love this dress. It does not come in a an "extra large for your tatas" size, though.

And, in conclusion, folks, and I mean this in all seriousness, WTF ep 3x14 of Bones, WTF indeed. Is that the season finale? Seriously. Also, where is all the fic (not for that ep so much, but in general). The meaty case files? The adorable one offs? Please to be pointing me there!!!

There is ridiculously little Bones fic out there. I will try to link to some of the better ones when I get home, but I find that most of the stuff worth reading has been tagged at del.icio.us, so that's the resource I use.

Also: GORGEOUS dress. Shame about the boobs.

Go marathon training! I ran 4.6 miles on Saturday and it was hard. I R SLO. Gotta up the mileage, because the eat-less plan isn't working.

I somehow missed this post the first time, but LOOK what a good deal we would have gotten on that dress compared to the website price (I'm impressed you found it!). We should go back and try it again and see if we can make it work. I feel like it wasn't so terribly too small! And it really is SO gorgeous on you.

I haven't left the house in like four days, as I've been recording podfic every waking hour. Some day soon I'm gonna need you to come over and feed me. *g*
