Hee - dude, I'd have been surprised if you'd even tried to make it through!! It's - strangely, the first season is better about making the violence immediate and as it goes on, it definitely becomes fetishy. At this stage, I'm kind of fascinated by the ways in which we've become immune and turned on by this. It's more than a little creepy, and I include myself in this as well.
