And we have a winner. $10 fee for the parking ticket, and I am officially done with that citation. (FTA was dropped. All other fees and penalties were dropped. I paid $15 to the sherriff's dept, countless dollars to the parking lot people, and zillions of hours of my time, but I did NOT have to pay the exorbitant FTA fee. (wearemany, if you haven't yet had your acquital, the day court judge was WAY more lenient than the night court judge due to the 80 bazillion cases he was processing. It did, however, take twice as long).

And word to the wise, do not be littering in LA. You get a fine, plus 8 mandatory hours of community service!!

Relief does not even begin to express my feelings right now (and I'm living in blissful denial of the fact that our gas is out. Again.)

To celebrate, I'll take any sort of request - Top 10 List, Drabble Requests, Rants Against our Current Civil Administration system, Interpretive Dance, Why You Rock, Why I Rock.

Just, huge hugs and adoration for all of y'all for the sympathy and the support in this situation that was 99.9% my fault!

I shall also use my celebratory icon, which, while irrelevant, just fits the amount of joy!

went yesterday for 2nd time, now w/ complete registration for E's car. had FTA reduced to 25$ and then a $100 assessment fee -- which, by the time they taxed & assessed more, wound up being $252. but at least it's done.
