Despite the fact that I've no interest in tutoring again, I do find that I kind of miss the crazy antics/excuses of the teenage population.

I find it kind of charming how they think that we're all morons (but in a feeling sorry for us, sparing our feelings for our own good by lying sort of way). The wide-eyed, "But I didn't know you wanted me to do those problems?" "You mean you wanted me to read All of it?", the blank drooly look of the thinking about Mark Dewey in the fourth row instead of speed and velocity and how those apply to this calculus problem expression. The OMG are you really that old look of pity:)

So, while I'm less than thrilled that the NIP (and whatever poor excuse for a life I may have) will be shelved for awhile, returning to tutoring really shouldn't be ALL THAT BAD.

Watched Heroes last night. Still have much love. Have even more love that there's a new ep next week.

Watched Studio 60, and Sorkin, if you're taunting me by finally making this show good, making it something I can about; if you're preparing to blast us back to the preachy politics and the wank on the religious right and the internet commentary, you'd better fear my wrath because these last two eps rocked mightily and I will HATE you if you fuck this up for me.

I'm tired, I'm cranky, and I haven't written anything in weeks. So now is the time on Depression Central where we offer up the chance to make drabble requests (y'all should know my fandoms, and if you make a request and I can't write it, I'll tell you). I'm asking for a work, phrase, object, pairing, place, or holiday to go along with your preferred fandom. Crossovers are always accetable. I have been watching Supernatural. If you ask for that, I make no promises beyond motels and pay-per-view porn and driving late at night.
