Falling off the Learning Curve

* Putting copious amounts of Drakkar on the cat piss covered couch will not cover up the smell of cat piss. It will just turn a living room into a locker room. (For ultimate clarification, it was not my idea to put aftershave on the couch BECAUSE I'M JUST NOT THAT DUMB! Nor was I home when this decision was made, as I would have stopped it!). Regardless, for future reference, stick with carpet cleaner and Febreeze.
* Writing porn backwards is not as clever as it seems like it's going to be. Because you don't orgasm first and backtrack. Whaps self upside the head. The story wants to be backwards. But I think maybe I should right the porn forwards.
* I may, perhaps, be a teeny tiny bit oversensitive about my writing. Who knew?
* Trying to pull an article about police procedurals from one's behind when one hasn't watched any tv aside from Gilmore Girls or Veronica Mars for a month may, in fact, result in the beginnings of a spec script. Blame the Hussies. Or alternately, if we right it and it sells, praise them to the heavens. Cops in Space. I'm just saying. For more, you're gonna have to tune in to Monday's SMRT-TV.
* My mental state really is better when I exercise consistently. See 32 years of evidence vs. my lazy ass.
* There are at least 10 drabbles for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
farscapefriday that I've written in the past three years that I have utterly no memory of writing. There are more than two that have the same tightly. There are 50 that contain virtually the same sentence in one way or another, and perhaps four that contain no errors. Whaps other side of my head because the right side is suitable bruised.

* Finally, tomorrow is the last day to sign up for the Thelma and Louise Do Outer space Gal-Pal Ficathon. C'mon down and sign up. You don't have to write about space! Just women, having adventures! And possibly sex. Although ideally not with each other. That's not to say not with other women, or men, or aliens. Whatever:) Mostly, it's a chance to explore female frienship! So sign-up or pimp out!
