As I just said to [livejournal.com profile] crankygrrl, if you could harness the energy of my mood swings these days, we'd have no need for cold fusion.

The ebulliance of last week has faded into a more realistic perspective on my life - the good and bad and in between. My mood is somewhere around knee high, and I wish my hormones wouldn't interfere.

I need a life coach, not someone to make decisions for me, but someone to be there with whip and whisper saying, "Five more resumes, write that article, finish that piece, buy ad space in the non-profit newsletter to advertise your services, send out your invoices, pay your bills, work on your stories." The opposite of the little voice that whispered in the Emporers ear. I know I'm mortal. That little voice that I currently hear sounds way too much like me for me to actually pay attention and be askeered.

Any volunteers?

On a sunnier note, the new issue of SMRT-TV is out, featuring the second half of the interview with Adam Baldwin, a really well done review of Serenity, and other lovely articles. Liz is such a supportive editor, [livejournal.com profile] lizlet. Upon receiving a...lengthy...article, she cheerily said, "Looks great. I look forward to reading the cut version." Hee.
