I wouldn't mind the 20 hour work week if I could live on the salary. Of course, I realize that I'm not working just 20 hours. Between tutoring, editing, reading two books to review, writing and now researching for two more articles I've agreed to take on, I'm working plenty of hours. It's just that only 20 of them are in the office.

In a flurry of wolf at the door panic, I agree to write an article about kid's sewing classes and indoor arts and crafts projects. I'm not sure any of you know me well enough to imagine how funny this really is, but trust me it's freakin' hysterical. I know nothing about Arts and Crafts. I never wanted to color in the lines - always been an abstract artist:) - and the bane of my existence was the tissue paper and Elmer's art project. Actually, I've never been a fan of glue in general, although I know I ate my fair share of glue and that there are scabby scummy palm skins floating around in the ether.

So, for those of you more so inclined, any advice on where I'd go to find out how to make sock puppets or other such projects? Anyone wanna get quoted on that?

The sewing article is easy - there's a slew of craft/fabric stores and I'm just gonna call 'em, but crafts, hoo boy.

We did watch Alias, tiny spoilers )
