I gave one of my interviewees my home phone number yesterday instead of my office number. At least she called me back. I had to call her today and apologize and try to convince her I wasn't crazy.

I've gotten to the point that instead of remembering that I've written about the same subject 14,000 times, I've totally blanked it all out. I love my job, but I so need a new one.

Today has been brighter and sunnier for me than most of last week. This pleases me to no end, especially considering that I woke up in the middle of the night convinced I hadn't set the alarm, and then proceeded to change the time on the clock. I had to get up, find my watch, reset the time, and hope to god that when the alarm went off, the time really was the time. I used to do stuff like this all the time as a kid when I was in the worst of the sleepwalking, but it's still annoying to do this as an adult.

I think I'm pleased with how the clothing fic turned out, and after a few more modifications, will post it to Leviathan and Kansas later today.

I watched WGFA with the commentary track, and then without it (which undoubtedly accounts for the seriously fucked up dreams I had) in hopes that it would help me block the next scene in Blue Eyes, but it's a distracting ep to watch analytically and since I don't want to steal from it, just borrow here and there, I'm not sure it helped. But I enjoyed myself thoroughly.

My father called with another list of demands. He wants a copy of Young Americans with a horn section. I told him I had it, but I think I lied. I have to figure out what album this is on. Horn section is screaming live Bowie to me, but I don't know that for sure.

[livejournal.com profile] crankygrrl is contemplating walking the Appalachian Trail. I say good for her, and for all those out there willing to sleep outside. Let it never again be me. I'm fond of outside, when it involves walking or lounging in it. No sleeping or bathing in the great outdoors for me.
