Life With Cat, And Allergies

Cat psychology 101:
Even if you are sick, the wet food is not appealing if it is a special treat just for you in your own room and you do not get to lord it over the other cat and go "nyah, nyah", and it shall therefore be ignored in favor of going to the community bowl and scarfing a few bites of that even though your teeth hurt.

Sigh. He's still not really eating - won't eat the equally stinky food I just bought ([livejournal.com profile] iamsab - do you want a whole pile of pricey wet food for the beasts? Because I won't give it to the boys, particularly if we're going to play the game of I won't eat it unless it's WINNING). However, he seems perkier and interested in being in the living room again instead of curled on my bed, with me. He and I collapsed last night in front of Criminal Minds, a pile of sick on one small, newly pillowed couch, but today he wanted to go and play which I hope means he's feeling better.

I, however, seem to be getting worse. The cough is still there, and now I feel dizzy and tired and distracted. I still swear it's allergies, however...

My mom is turning 60 next week, and is having a party this weekend and will be out here in two weeks, but I'd still like to send her some sort of token. Maybe flowers for the party...
